Project 3 - Cut-out Alternation
A pool cover needed a small cut out added...

1. Area for cut-out identified.
2. Cut-out location measured and marked. Tools and materials assembled: Clockwise from bottom right: 1.0" webbing, 2.0" webbing, seam ripper, scalpel, grease pencil, 18" rule, thread nippers, double sided tape, scissors.

3. Cut lines on top side marked in with white grease pencil. 4. Cut and fold lines on top side marked in with white grease pencil.

5. Webbing unstitched and cut. Raw edges folded and turned under. Viewed from top side of cover.

6. Cut and fold lines on top side marked in with white grease pencil.

7. Webbing unstitched and cut.
8. Raw edge folded and turned under to bottom side of cover.

9. Raw edges cut, taped, folded and turned to the bottom side of cover.
10. Bottom side reinforcement taped to cover.

11. Completed cut-out.

12. Close up of completed cut-out.
